Policies for the 2021 Season

From all of us at Pike Lake Golf Centre, thank you for a great 2020 season. It was with your cooperation and consideration for our new safety policies that we were able to see such a successful season while keeping our Guests and Staff safe. We look forward to welcoming you back for the 2021 season.

We are closely following all guidelines from the Wellington Dufferin Guelph (WDG) Public Health Unit and Ontario Government and are currently under the Provincial Emergency and Stay-at-Home Order.
Our safety measures are subject to change as updates are received from our health unit and we will make the necessary changes as required.


Policies for the 2021 Season

Please adhere to the guidelines established by our local, provincial and federal government.

  • If you have a fever or flu-type symptoms, please stay home.
  • If you have tested positive for Covid-19, are a presumptive case, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or is a presumptive case, please stay home.
  • If you have travelled from outside the Province of Ontario, do not plan to visit Pike Lake for a period of 14 days, please remain home.
  • Physical distancing is required at all times (minimum 6ft apart).
  • No group gatherings.
  • Masks or face coverings are mandatory inside all public buildings at Pike Lake. This includes but is not limited to: Pro Shop, Restaurant, Motel, Camp Office



Tee times & Bookings

  • Tee times must be booked in advance, walk-ins are not permitted. To pre-book tee times Click Here or (800)265-2551
  • Tee times are suitably spaced to provide physical distancing and maintain pace of play.
  • Members will continue to receive preferred tee times at two-week advance bookings with guest receiving 1 week advance.


Registration and Completion of Play

  • Golfers are expected to arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled tee time and will wait in their car until notified by the Starter/Pro Shop staff.
  • Please make all special request and arrangements prior to arriving at the golf course.
  • Upon completion of play, golfers are expected to exit the premises in an efficient manner.


Pro Shop

  • Masks must be worn in the Pro Shop at all times.
  • Plexiglass shields in the Pro Shop serve to protect employees and golfers during payment interactions.
  • We have installed an additional deck on the side of the Pro Shop to receive walk-up window access.
  • Merchandise is available for purchase via curbside pick up


Driving Range

  • Range balls can be purchased through the motel office.
  • All baskets and balls will be sanitized after each use.
  • To increase social distancing every other hitting bay will be closed.


Social Distancing

  • Floor markings and signage will be used to maintain 2 meters of space between customers when lineups are required.
  • On course, golfers must adhere to these strict social distancing guidelines.


Golf Carts

  • All golf carts will be pressure washed followed by a chemical spray to disinfect after each use.
  • Customers shall load/unload their own equipment.
  • One golfer per cart unless from the same household.
  • Customers must remove their garbage after their round and place in garbage bin at cart return.
  • All carts must be returned to the wash station.



  • Washrooms on the course and at the Clubhouse will be maintained regularly, we ask that you follow the sanitation procedures posted.


Food & Beverage

  • Beverage carts are available Friday, Saturday and Sundays
  • The halfway house is in operation Friday, Saturday and Sundays, orders can be placed ahead of time from the call box by the Links #9 tee blocks.



  • The Clubhouse will open for the 2021 Season in the spring, depending on provincial and local Official opening date to be announced soon.
  • Serving indoor dining with patio seating and take-out.
  • Reservations required for indoor dining. Reservations can be made by calling 519-338-3010 ext. 230
  • Absolutely no smoking permitted on the covered or lower patio.
  • We ask all patrons to wait to be seated to ensure the safety of themselves and others and to allow proper sanitization in between customers.
  • Once you have been shown your table, you must remain at that table. There is to be no intermingling between tables. Of course, you may get up to use the washroom and return to your seat.
  • Masks are mandatory in the Clubhouse. Put your mask on when you enter the building, while you are being seated and while waiting for your order. Remove your mask when your order arrives so you can eat and drink.

  • To maintain no-contact transactions, we request our guests phone Reservations to coordinate payment.
  • The motel recreation room is not available at this time.

  • Physical distancing is required at all times (minimum 6ft apart), campers must obey social distancing rules as mandated by the Province of Ontario.
  • No group gatherings.
  • All seasonal and overnight campers must sign our Liability Waiver which was either included with the seasonal camping agreement or sent out to overnight campers prior to their arrival.

  • We are open for trailer sales, however our sales team are available by appointment only.
  • In addition to routine infection control, we will be sanitizing sales units after each viewing. All sales units are locked to the public when not being viewed.
  • For set up and delivery of purchased trailers or modular homes, staff will adhere to the region’s health department safety measures specific to where they are working. We are subject to limitations on the services we can provide based on the response framework set in each region.

  • In addition to routine infection control, employees will wash hands frequently and wear gloves when cleaning, disinfecting and attending to customers.
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be available at all points of entry of Pike Lake public buildings.
  • High frequency touch points (across all departments and washrooms) will be disinfected on a regular basis.
  • In addition to scheduled cleaning of high frequency touch points, each staff member will have their own spray bottle with disinfectant (and/or food-safe sanitizer when applicable) to use to disinfect/sanitize their area, equipment and tools.


Our public health unit (Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph) has issued a class order effective 12:01am June 12, 2020:

Any customer, patron, employee or visitor who enters a commercial establishment in the WDG region is required to wear a face covering while inside the establishment. A face covering must now be worn in all Pike Lake owned buildings accessed by the public, as well as all local businesses in our area. This order is in effect until rescinded by the Medical Officer of Health.

Every person has a right to expect their time at Pike Lake will be without any time of discrimination or harassment.
