A Legacy of Excellence
Pike Lake Golf Centre has been in operation since 1961 when Irv and Joan Cowen moved their young family from Toronto and began their business adventure in Minto. Over the following 64 years, Irv, Joan, George, Herb, Jeanne and Tom, with the help of family members and staff, transformed a modest 9-hole golf course with a small, rustic clubhouse into one of Ontario’s largest family-owned resorts. Today, Pike Lake offers a 27-hole golf course with a full-service practice facility and pro shop, 20+ room motel/rental accommodations, a large welcoming clubhouse restaurant, and a large seasonal campground and year-round adult living community.
The owners are excited about this next chapter for Pike Lake and remain grateful for the ongoing support of the community, staff, members, and guests. With a strong team, including Greg, Mike, and the Pro Shop staff, Pike Lake is well-positioned to deliver a memorable 2025 golf season and beyond.
